Ashtanga Yoga is a beautiful practice which is accessible to all. It places much emphasis on moving through a set sequence of postures using breath synchronized motion, gaze points and internal awareness. Ashtanga will tone and strengthen and restore flexibility.Whilst initially, it may seem challenging, regular practice begins to open the body releasing stiffness, energizing cells and calming the spirit and leaving behind a deep sense of lightness in both body and mind.
Hatha Yoga is a gentle practice without flow between poses. A typical Hatha class is generally a slow-paced stretching class with some simple breathing exercises and perhaps seated meditation. This class is a great place to learn poses and relaxation techniques, and to become comfortable with Yoga.The benefits of Hatha Yoga include relieving stress, improving balance and flexibility and increasing strength.
PILATES is a system of mobility and stability exercises that can be done on mat or in standing position, with or without specialized props such as Pilates ball, toning balls, sticks, Pilates ring, flex bands, Pilates arc etc. At Motion we make sure that you can enjoy your Pilates class in a new and exciting way every time. We are using a variety of Pilates props to keep your body and your mind awake in different ways and to challenge a new group of muscles to get you more toned and stronger body in every class. Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance in the whole human body. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong powerhouse, and improving coordination and balance. A Mat class that starts with working on your core strength and stability then challenges the muscle groups of your legs and Gluteus, using ballet base exercises. After ballet warming up part, your teacher Ha, takes the best from Pilates. A unique combination of Pilates and ballet to tone your muscles and improve your posture
Yin Yoga has the same goals and objectives as any other school of yoga; however, it directs the stimulation normally created in the asana portion of the practice deeper than the superficial or muscular tissues. Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active styles.
